Style & Trends – January – February 2010

Angel Kane - Kane & Crowell Family Law Center

Hello again, Wilson Ladies!

How exciting is New Years Eve?? Icing on the cake, having just been through Christmas. The reality is, we just made it through Thanksgiving and Christmas, eating much more than normal; now it’s time for us to pack into the gym (yes, this should include you!). If you currently
don’t work out, decide to begin now, making a commitment to your new healthy lifestyle. My plans are to begin today, with the help of Sports Village Fitness Center. See page 47, to read about the New Years Resolution I’ve taken on. Hopefully, it will inspire you to try some new workout classes and mix up your routine, for your own taste of personal success.

Speaking of New Years Eve, “Manny” Cuevas, the son of legendary fashion designer Manuel, who lives right next to us in Nashville, gives us some tips on clothing from an actual designer’s perspective. He is known for his cut and fit to the body, as well as the glitzy embellishments added to his clothing. Personally, I’m addicted to his boots–they’re handcrafted, and a-mazing. He just opened a very attractive new boutique in Nashville, and I’ll give you a sneak peek!

Also, how fun is Valentines Day? Love it. With this being the January/February issue, we can plan for two exciting holidays. I came up with some fun-themed Valentine’s outfits that you can pretty much find locally. What’s wrong with looking hot over the chilly holidays? Single? I’ve picked out an outfi t just for you as well. Also, Splurge vs. Save had such a great response last issue, that I’ve decided to bring it back. It’s  always fun to fi nd new, as well as those tried-and-true beauty products, and test them out for you, my dear readers!

Next issue, I would like to have some feedback from you on your favorite products. I love to read what you have to say, so please email me any time. You may just earn a spot in the next issue! Lastly, check out page 44, to view what will be “in” for this year. There are some new trends you need represented in your closet now!! Have happy holidays, and remember that kindness is always in style.

Til next time….

Erin
