Time is flying in 2012. We are already almost in the second quarter of the year, and things are getting busy for everyone as outdoor team sports kick off,Becky & angel spring break for kids approaches and spring cleaning for the parent’s creeps up.
Proms and weddings are popular this time of year. And with that of course comes our very popular Bridal Issue!
Because we have such a good time planning, shooting and editing our wedding issue, last year we decided to share our love of weddings with the Inaugural Blushing Bridal Show. That very first show was such a success, Wilson Living is once again teaming up with The Mill at Lebanon and Party Providers to bring you the 2nd Annual Blushing Bridal Show. We have some great new additions to this year’s show including our special guest, Jay Qualls. Qualls owns and operates Maples Wedding Cakes. His amazing designs also landed him a spot on the TLC reality contest The Next Great Baker. So ‘Save the Date’ and join us on March 11th, at The Mill at Lebanon for the 2nd Annual Blushing Bridal Show. Tickets are on sale now at www.blushingbridalshow.com or at area Wilson Bank & Trust locations.
We’ve been talking about it for weeks, and now the time is here to meet the latest batch of single men. Style and Trends Editor, Erin Brown, has details on the Bachelors of Wilson County. These guys were so much fun on our photo shoot. We’re sure they won’t be single for long. Take a look at our video from the shoot on our new interactive website www.wilsonlivingmagazine.com.
Speaking of our new website, you must visit to see for yourself all the new bells and whistles we’ve added. One of our most anticipated new additions is the blogs. Our newly minted professional bloggers will cover everything from health and wellness to religion and politics. Look at Angel’s story for details on who will be blogging on the site.
Cake anyone? Food Editor, Stacey Meadows, shares her recipe for a new take on cake this issue. They’re called Cake Pops. Because we always test Stacey’s recipes – just to make sure they are safe to eat – we tried these little dollops of heaven, and they are SPECTACULAR! Plus, Roy Harris once again offers up inspiration for brides and grooms in his latest reflection.
Remember to visit www.wilsonlivingmagazine.com and our Facebook page for unbelievable giveaways! Before we go, we’d like to wish all the brides-to-be and their families good luck! Be sure to email us your photos at info@wilsonlivingmagazine.com, and you might just see yourself on our website. We are at the beginning of a new year which can be very symbolic. It’s like you’re given a fresh start. The slate is clean and this is the year to complete a project, start a new job or lose weight!

Until next time, keep reading!!
