The average person spends two months of their life looking for lost things. Just Google it, and you will be surprised with the results. Two months? I don’t know about you, but I want to spend my time doing something else! When you are organized, you free your time to focus on the things that really matter to you. The simple word ‘organization’ brings fear to a lot of people. Let’s remove that fear and bring order and peace to your life and home.
Speaking of home– it’s one of the largest investments many of us make in our lifetime. Whether you rent or own, you exert a lot of time and money trying to make your dwelling uniquely yours. We all want our homes to be our refuge- our safe place that reflects who we are. Families are spending more time together at home. Perhaps you want to re-decorate or re-model? Need hints and tips to help you get that project organized? This will be the place to come.
Design, organization and building are all closely related. They each borrow elements from the other. Here we will share ideas and pictures to help you organize, decorate, re-design, or maybe even repair something in your home. We will talk about traditions, holidays and events- all things home.
We welcome your questions and concerns and will try our best to address them here. With a month by month approach, we plan to cover various categories and rooms in your home. Beginning next week, we will start with the laundry area- how to organize it, what to store there, and how to spend as little time there as possible!- but enjoying the time you are actually there by making it a happy space to be in.
So—take some time from the busyness of life that we all share and let’s regroup. Let’s focus on where we all long to be when we are not there. Let’s come home.
