When asked to style bookshelves for clients, I follow three simple steps:
Books, layering, and texture.
In my client’s home, these bookcases are three units wide and go to the ceiling- we had a lot of space to fill. By going to thrift stores and libraries, we were able to find enough used books for the large space. Then we were able to fill in with some of her family mementos and photos.
Following these three steps each time, you will be able to style your shelves with ease.
